Guest scores and detailed hotel feedback
My stay at the hotel was a mixed experience. The rooms had a sweet, nauseating roachy smell, and they were much too small for the number of patrons. On the positive side, the room was massive with loads of space and very comfortable. The service was accommodating to our needs and the staff was super nice offering good location and plenty of mirror space. The location was fine, away from traffic noise, but the rooms were noisy due to the construction. The dining experience was solid with a good variety of choices, though some found it horrible. Overall, the hotel offers a solid value for money despite some shortcomings.
The hotel was a bit outdated and loud and the breakfast options could use some improvement, although the staff were modestly courteous. The location was near great spots to eat but a little far from beaches and downtown. The dining was below average, but there was a solid variety of choices available, and the price was reasonable.
My stay at the hotel was a mix of positives and negatives. While the rooms were a bit outdated, they were the best I've experienced, and it would have been nice to have fresher and healthier breakfast options. The service ranged from modestly courteous to unfriendly, but housekeeping was as quick as a whistle. The location was easily accessible from the freeway and near great dining spots, but a little far from the beaches and downtown. The dining experience was below average, with a need for a better food selection. Despite these aspects, the hotel had a nice-sized counter in the rooms and was great with bars and restaurants in the local area.
Upon entering the hotel, I found the rooms to be clean and well-stocked with plenty of soap bars, though there was only one tiny bottle of shampoo, conditioner, and lotion for a family of four. The room featured a fridge, microwave, and large sink area, but I wished it felt more inviting as it was a bit dark and gloomy.
The hotel offers comfortable and spacious rooms, but there were issues with the light fixture. The service was a mix of being really nice and helpful with some instances of being 'short' with guests. The location is convenient with nearby amenities but a bit far from beaches and downtown. The dining experience varied from good and plentiful to not satisfactory. Overall, a decent stay with room for improvement.
The hotel had a convenient location close to highway 101, with easy access to local activities and the surrounding area. The rooms were small and outdated, but this helped keep noise levels down. However, there was a noticeable smell of smoke in the room which was a downside overall.
